From all the warnings about the announcers, I thought they would be much more biased. I haven't heard anything bad from them yet. They have praised Toledo throughout this game.

MY FIRST THOUGHT WHEN I HEARD THAT WE HAD JOINED THE MAC WAS "GREAT, NOW WE CAN RECRUIT SOME OF THOSE BIG MIDWESTERN FARM BOYS FOR THE O LINE. TONIGHT'S GAME AT THE CITRUS BOWL IS EXACTLY WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. THE ROCKETS OFFENSIVE LINE FLAT WHIPPED OUR BUTTS!! DON'T KNOW IF THEY ARE ACTUALLY FARM BOYS OR NOT BUT I'LL TAKE 3 OR 4 PLEASE. GOOD LUCK WITH THE REST OF YOUR SEASON.

Yeah, we do have a few farm boys on that O-Line (from Ohio and Michigan) and we even have one from the Canadian wilderness. Wait until you see the ones waiting for the present group to graduate.

Phew!! I just got home from the game! What a game! It was great to be there and see all those Rocket fans!!!

UT just absolutely dominated the second half. The O-line just flat wore UCF out. We had two 100 yard rushers!!! We're like Virginia Tech except we can throw!! LOL

I didn't like the way the game began, with UT turning over the ball inside the opponents 30. That reminded me way too much of the Pitt game. I thought, great, here we go again. The second half started off with a dead drive too..and I thought...this sux!

Then....finally....UT ran the ball....and ran it well. Astin Martin looked great....man is he quick!!

I hope the UCF fans read this part. I sat next to the student section and let me tell you, I've been to a lot of away games and I've never been treated like that! I swear that every student there was an absolute jerk! I went into this game with respect for UCF and I'm leaving it with a little bit of spite. I wish we would have beat them by 50. I don't mind a little bit of back and forth and stuff, but UT took the lead and 3 or 4 fans just yelled at me F*CK You and shot the bird???? There were old people and kids around me! :eek: The Citrus Bowl is not on campus...so they sell beer.....well....that student section took advantage of that!!!
After the game....several UCF fans said nice game...good luck etc, but as I was walking over to the Visitor/UT section, I had to walk between a crowd....and a UCF student tried to take....aka steal....my handsfree unit for my cell phone. He snatched it right off my Chester Taylor jersey. Fortunately, I heard the snap of the clip when it was ripped off. I thought it was an accident at first until I saw him winding it up in his hand. I turned around and looked at him, and he instantly gave it back. I then heard him say "I almost got it, better luck next time!" The students section had no clue about football, they seemed to forget that there was even a game going on. Once UT took the lead, the students then went after the UT bench. The best part was UT's #15 Reese was giving it right back at them!!

Oh...at the end of the first half with UCF leading 10-0 a UCF/student said "Welcome to the MAC". Well....to that student and the rest of the low class fans I ran into.............Thank You very much and nice game...but there is a reason we are the defending MAC champs. You gave us no respect, and gave me no respect, but we proved tonight that we deserve respect.

Oh, and I had fun celebrating our victory on your field. :wave:
