Guess Knight Time can go eat crow and make excuses as to why his beloved CUSA team got spanked by the inferior MAC.
Inferior MAC? Bowling Green would have made UNT look like a high school team.

After watching your beloved UNT team get punked by the 4th best CUSA team, I'd say you have absolutely no room to talk about your crap Sun Belt conference or your meaningless wins in the conference, considering the talent and level of play is on par with 1-AA teams.

Maybe next year CUSA will send the 6th-8th best team to give UNT a shot at winning and make you guys feel better about yourselves.

No, because Conference USA won't have that many bowl eligible teams. When you lose teams like Louisville who contends for the BC$ in a bowl game and trade them off for a suck****** school like Central Florida which is what they did in also landing Tulsa, Rice, and SMU while losing Cincy and South Florida, the number of OOC wins for CUSA schools drops.

BTW, that team that finished 4th in CUSA this year will win their conference next year, and the year after that, and the year after that, and the year after that, and so on. And you know why? Because Southern Miss won't have any competition in CUSA with schools like Central Florida there!!

Hey Knight I have no problem admitting we got spanked by USM, they are much better than their record.
As for the talent on par with 1-AA, then what does that make UCF?? Div II, why don't you guys play some Sun Belt Teams then and get bowl eligible if we are so bad.
Plus you are also the one who keeps saying the MAC sucks and now your defending them, nice about face.

We've already run through the Sun Belt as independents. Ask MTSU, all "Lousisiana" teams, and NMSU about that.

Check back in 3 years. We'll be going places in CUSA with Mr. O'Leary, and UNT will still be winning Sun Belt titles and getting punked in the NO Bowl.

Have a great day.

YAWN!!!!!!!!!!

CUSA Board is a little to the left up top. Try to hide your jealousy of all the teams winning games and not going 12-0 on the losing side.

By the way I could give a crap what you think about UNT, they get the job done unlike you guys. If O'Leary leads you guys to some bowls in the future until then go hide in your CUSA cave waiting for the cupcakes to show up (SMU, Rice, Tulsa) maybe you can do to them that you could not do to Army and Buffalo. 04-cheers

Congratulations! Now try beating us when we have something to offer our recruits.

But what exactly is UCF's excuse? You offer recruits a chance to win the MAC and play in CUSA and all it got you was an 0-11 season!!! You must be very proud.

Mr. O'Leary just had the 5th ranked running back in the NATION visit UCF on an official visit. His list is down to UCF, Ohio State, and USC. He is a huge believer in O'Leary and his system.

Lets see MTSU get that kind of consideration. If you don't believe me, feel free to visit the rivals recruiting boards.

O'Leary is a master recruiter. Ask the ACC and his "Coach of the Year" trophy.

You have a recruit that is considering you. Congratulations, but he can still go to Ohio State. Like I said, MTSU already has a well-respected wide-receiver in Jay Robinson who picked us over not just Troy and Northern Illinois, but also Purdue, Vanderbilt, and Indiana.

Jay picked us because of our prestige in sending widereceivers to the NFL. You will surely see Kerry Wright follow Kendall Newson and Tyrone Calico before him to the NFL ranks.

We shall see just how good your recruits are or how well your team improves next year. UCF can only go up, but another 0-11 season would show no improvement.

"Memphis would roll over MTSU faster than they would a D-1AA school. "

Prove it. Middle will play Memphis any time, anywhere. Memphis is too chicken to play. Nice game against BGSU too by the way. I guess that vaunted Memphis D still needs some tweaking, huh?

I suppose you think MTSU is on the same level, or even atosphere, as BGSU

The sad thing is that you probably really do believe Memphis is scared of MTSU.

You don't see too many non-BC$ teams with both a good offense and defense.
Man you are an idiot...why not take a stand on something and stick with it, jesus u keep jumping ship after each game when you make a statement before the game.

Here is your first comment in this thread "Southern Miss has not faced a team this good since Memphis or maybe even Alabama. UNT is THAT sound!! UNT could wipe the floor with all but maybe one or two teams on Southern Miss' CUSA slate.

Now all of sudden Memphis is a weaker Con-USA team? How can you say weaker when USM was the 4th place team in Con-USA and Memphis was #2?

Memphis got lucky against Southern Miss. There are no two sounder teams in CUSA than Southern Miss and Louisville. Both will win their bowl games. Everyone else is pretty weak. That comment I made that UNT was the strongest team since Memphis was not a testament to Southern Miss' strength to a team they lost to, but a testament of the weakness of CUSA and USM's debacle against the Tigers.

I think YOU are the idiot! Don't worry. The MAC's fire will go out in the next four days. Tomorrow UConn will take down Toledo and later on Iowa State will take out Miami of Ohio. And of course Troy will take out Northern Illinois on the 30th.

Your conference is weak and ranked below every Division 1-A conference and a couple of Division 1-AA conferences.

I like our chances against UCF in Cajun Field next season. Pretty interesting that UCF has to travel here. Most of the time, it is us who has to travel.

For personal reasons (mainly pride and monetary), I'm goin with the MAC in 2 of their 3 remaining bowl games. I got Miami (OH) over ISU and Toledo over UCONN (can you say weakkkkkk?). I got Troy beating NIU though. SBC pride!
