Capacity is not an issue for thier stadium. TN is a football state. Nashville is a big town. And MTSU would give them a good crowd and vice versa. If WKU was also in the mix at some point down the road then these three teams might travel very well for each other. Thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea b/c of geographics for ya'll. Are they talking about joining the SunBelt or is this just your idea? Because I would like to see another team from that area join up with us.

Well TSU went 4-7 and finished 8th out of 9 in arguably this year's 6th best I-AA league. Basketball is 2-4 against Division I competition so far this season.

Beyond that, they won't even get a look unless they are in the process of making transition to I-A, and so far they've made no announcement of that sort.

No way the clown college in Nashville can go 1A. While they go to classics out of town against HBCU's and get good numbers, their attendance at home is extremely bad against predominantly white programs in the ovc.

In a renewal of the basketball rivalry this past Sunday afternoon in Murfreesboro, there were only about 50-75 fans there to support their team against what is supposed to be a hated rival.

There is constantly bad news coming out of that institution and that has been the case for decades now. The stuff doesn't rise to the level of the FAMU mess but given their record, they have that kind of potential for disaster.
