This game ranks at least top 5 in all of the games I've seen in person, Rutgers- UCONN last year ranking #1 on my list. This game had so much intensity, passion and heart. Western Kentucky came up with lots of huge plays, rewarding them with #1 and #5 highlights in the countdown. #5 was that alley-oop play, and #1 was like 3 or 4 plays rolled into one, all of them being blocks, steals, and clutch baskets. But no matter how many demoralizing plays they threw at MTSU, MTSU never folded, kept their poise, didn't appear fazed by the crowd at all, and kept coming back. The clutch plays they came up with were incredible, this team played great on a road game like this. The crowd was really loud at times, and I mean LOUD. I'm impressed with the stadium they have. It's like the type of arena you would see in a Big East or a Big Ten school. They definitely have the credentials to move up to a more prestigious conference. Congrats to WKU and MTSU on an awesome game!

and why does western kentucky have a 'blob' for a mascot? What is it? Looks like a diversion of Pacman to me.

You claimed to be an MTSU student I think on another forum... but I don't know that I buy that.

Here is where this poster says that he is a MTSU student in a thread from the MAC forum.
Hey, I am a transfer at Middle Tennesee State University from the Sunbelt Conference. If you guys have any questions about the conference, our basketball or football team, and other such stuff....just reply to the topic...thanx
And yes..... if you're wondering.... Middle Tennessee (my current school) is the team that came into the Rubber Bowl in Week 2 and beat Akron (my former school) by a touchdown. I was very surprised at this, how they couldn't beat our very mediocre football team, although we had an All-American at Wide Receiver. This was probably the loss that stamped their fate as far as their bowl-games were concerned.

I'm not hiding anything, but I was just browsing and talking SBC hoops as just another poster. Wasn't really interested in becoming an all-out "BLUE- RAIDER FAN" and I am now going to announce. I am a Middle Tennessee Student. But I mentioned this on the MAC message board, because I wanted to ask a question and wanted to clear up something. I don't know If I'm really a Raider fan at heart, at times I still refer to the Blue Raiders as "you guys" rather than "Us", so the transition has been a bit weird. But this is my school and I am rooting for them all the way. If you're wondering about my past analysis on the top Sunbelt contenders, those were just based on what I thought and saw. So far, they seem to be pretty acurrate.
