With photo credit thanks to Harry Hood, the top to the new scoreboard is on its way and should start going up later this week!!!

Lots of improvements to The Doyt have been and are being made...including painting the railings to a nice dark chocolate brown, adding some new handicapped accessible viewing platforms and very soon the plans for the new Student Activities Center to be placed in the north end zone will be unvieled.

In addition, the field is now back to being the best natural playing surface in the MAC.

Still riding high on the 2003 MAC West Division Championship...it's a great day to be a Falcon!!!

Ya know...I just realized that the edging around the logo is kind of a goldish color, and if you look at the image a little bit sideways it almost looks like a rocket taking off....hummmmmmmmm

Jealous... anyways. :rolleyes: You know I just thought of something, Toledo got a video scoreboard about 6 or 7 years ago, now all of a sudden the birdboys want to get a video scoreboard!! Copycats! I take it the chalkboard wasn't cutting it anymore?? :D

That may be, but it would still rank only 4th or 5th best stadium overall in the same league as I played high school football. Coincidentally, my junior high and high school coach was a former TMSU falcon football player and in seventh grade, he took us to a Ball State - TMSU game (the only time I have been and ever will be in that stadium) where the Cardinals handed TMSU their ******e$. I have always looked back on that and thought that the coach was trying to teach us a valuable lesson. "See kids, this is where you may end up some day if everything else fails in your life, so do your homework and become a Rocket" :D
