Looks like some Pitt fans maybe fired up for their first taste of the MAC.

No, we gave them their first taste of the MAC already and they didn't like it. 04-rock
[quote]Senior guard Trevor Huffman made a go-ahead layup with 57 seconds left in overtime and Kent State made 6-of-6 free throws in the final 41 seconds as the Golden Flashes defeated Pittsburgh 78-73 in the NCAA Tournament South Region semifinals.

After the Panthers took a 71-70 lead with 1:11 to play, Huffman drove the lane and made a fallaway that put the Flashes ahead to stay. Junior Antonio Gates and senior Andrew Mitchell each hit 2-of-2 from the free-throw line for a 76-71 lead with 21 seconds left. Pittsburgh

Funny how the Pitt fans don't recall how their star guard, Brandon Hunter, choked in that game. But I do. 03-wink

I understand the mistake--but it was Brendon Knight I believe.

That brings back great memories. By far the greatest moment in KSU athletic history.

Anyone know if KSU has any sort of video tribute to that season or tournament run. I'd love to relive the old glory?

Try the KSU alumni association. They produced a poster; did not buy one, so can't tell you what it looks like. I don't know of any videos.
