It's the average home attendance for games played during the season. The link to the NCAA stats is there.......click to open. Go to attendance for each sport. 03-wink

I agree; the SBC has a tremendous upside potential. The Rust Belt has been around for what 54 years and was the college football conference doormat for say 52-53 of those years. The Sun Belt has been around for 4 football years and passed the MAC in some ranking systems last year and are starting out this year outranking the MAC in some services.

The SBC will only get better with time!

Exactly, I've been saying this about the SBC forever. There is nothing but "UP" for the SBC. I'm just getting too old waiting around for a 1A announcement...come on already!

This thread demonstrates the positive of an open board vs. a closed board.

Closed, MG61 doesn't get a chance to post the actual NCAA stats to compare fan support vs. a poster's perception.
Closed, I can't point out that while the MAC basketball title game was much better attended, it was also played on a better date between teams close to the site.

Open, points get made everyone moves on.
Closed, someone finally gets tired of it and goes elsewhere and rants about the silliness.
