That's great news. However, looking at their roster it looks like they're set at guard

PG - Marbury, Barbosa(2003 first round draft pick)
SG - Casey Jacobsen, Penny Hardaway, Joe Johnson

Definitely a long shot. The only way i see a roster spot is if one of these guys get injured. With the NBA's bullcrap guaranteed contracts its tough to "earn" your way on a roster.

Best of luck and please give me a reason to follow the NBA.

Being a long shot is nothing new to our #24. Still, don't buy those Suns tickets yet.

I'm just happy Trevor's getting a real shot. IMO, he got the shaft after a great March run in 2002. Then, got his Knicks look cut short by injury. At least this gives Huffman an entire camp to make his case. Or, to make the trade case for another Suns guard.

If it's Europe after this, at least Trevor had the shot he deserved.

I'm pulling for him, too, axeme.

Looks like it's back to Europe for Trevor...cut by Suns.

Quote:Oct. 8, 2003: Suns Head Coach Frank Johnson announced this morning that the team waived free agent guards William Pippen and Trevor Huffman today, and signed 7-2 Yugoslavian center Dejan Koturovic. Check back with Suns.com this afternoon for more on the Suns' evolving camp roster.
