Ugly second half for the Flashes. The part of the third that went penalty, turnover, penalty, turnover, penalty, turnover for Kent made me sick. The team is not ready to compete for a league title, they folded in the seconda half.
Why did the running game fall apart so fast?

The frustrating part of this team is that they do have potential. As bad as the loss was, there were good drives showing ability to move the ball and decent defense (until they just wore out in the fourth quarter). The drops were by inexperienced backs, which is all we have right now with Alston out the the season. Brooks will be decent if he learns to hang on to the ball and Cribbs passing was okay given the fact that he could not plant his rear leg (form was ugly!).

Special teams sucked yesterday.

Give credit to Ball State. They played with intensity and executed very well.

Pitiful turnout for Homecoming. Alums should be embarrassed, especially those within driving distance.

I don't think you can overerestimate the loss of Alston and the fact that Cribbs is running at about 70%. We need a bye week very badly, but have another month before we get one. :(

The "announced" crowd was a little over 10K. There weren't that many people there. This program is done if the conference exemption doesn't pass. Maybe that's the way it should be because it's obvious that no one really cares about KSU football anyway.

My guess is that there may have been half the announced crowd. I have been around KSU FB for 30 years. This is as bad as it has ever been. YOU ARE CORRECT, NO ONE CARES. This administration just does not see the benefit in a good program that is well attended. If you think this crowd is small, wait til we drop a division level.

Where were the students on Homecoming? This was sad and I do not know how many more games I can suffer through. What an ill prepared group of players.

My conspiracy theory is that the admin wants to kill football, but are going to let the NCAA and MAC do what they don't have the guts to do themselves. Why else not advertise homecoming and a first place team last week. Why no adds on the radio or in the BJ or PD?

"Come back to campus and see your first place Flashes! You've been gone a while and we're back!"

Or some similar ad crap...

BUT THEY DON'T CARE AND WANT IT TO DIE!

Maybe they can add women's synchronized swimming. The alumni and students will flock to that with a sense of pride.

I'm sick of it. 03-puke

This will kill basketball too. The MAC is basically an all sports conference and that is its strength. I know that UCF is FB only but most know that that is temporary. They will be all sports or nothing soon. Can you see us trying to find a place for our BB programs? Honestly, our AD is Ivy League and he acts like it. He really does not want big time.
