I hate to say this to a fellow ATO...but we're obviously going to have to beat that fact that we're no longer Memphis State into you.

We dropped the name in 1994. Don't use it unless you intend to piss us off...or grew up around here when we were MSU.

yeah, its funny how he's going to beat something into a MT poster on this board, especially a fan of memphis[state], which by the way has trailed in the series with MT for over 50 years now.

They got tired last time of getting beat by MT and I suspect before the end of this series they'll be tired of getting beat again. :laugh:

Good grief...you're quoting a record of a series that hasn't been played in over 50 years?!? That's pathetic...you must be related to a bunch Ole Piss fans...bragging about games that happened back when Army was a CFB powerhouse.

...and I always go out of my way to respect a school's choice in names. I have never once referred to North Texas as NTSU.

Since you are the one viewing this thread, and you say you refer to teams by their choice name, and I'm feeling rather nice this evening, I will refer to you as Memphis.

I could call you Pimphis if you prefer. But I always kinda thought some folks would view that as a compliment.

About the same amount that will be travelling to Pimphis to watch the Blue Raiders roll over Memphis State.
