How's things in Lafayette? I know there's more pressing matters for you guys than football these days in Louisiana. After breaking the Kurse, Im very excited about this game this week and hoping for a good game, if any game. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do a trip out there, but Im sure the Black and Gold Nation will be represented. Let me start off this weeks festivities by saying....

COME GET YOURS!!! :saber:

Lafayette fared well from Rita. We had some down trees and power lines, but life is back to normal here. We are ready for the game this Saturday.

Here's to the start of another 17 game losing streak for UCF!!!!! 04-cheers

The streak may be off our backs, but we still need a lot of improvement and we're young. We're gonna get a great game from the Cajuns on their turf. O'Leary better make sure our kids' heads are on straight. We don't want to make the same mistake Marshall made last weekend. This game versus UL is big for us.

Last 2 games:

954 total yards offense 04-cheers

We will move the ball.

852 yards have been given up on defense 03-puke

I'm looking for a 40something to 40something score.

Should be fun, and EXCELLENT weather is forecast. Prime tailgating weather. You guys need to come on over and party Cajun-style. 04-drinky

Good game last night Cajuns. We crumbled in the second half and you really took advantage of it. We did get very lucky. 04-cheers

BTW, if you were there, did you notice any UCF fans that made the trip?

It was a good game except for the outcome. Notice about 5-10 UCF fans outside of the stadium before kickoff, but other than that, UCF did not travel well.

Hopefully we'll return the favor and beat y'all in Orlando next year.

I didn't think that we would have travelled well there. I think all the hurricane mess kind of made fans reluctant to make the trip to Lafayette. If there was no Katrina or Rita, I bet more would have travelled, at least to make a stop over in New Orleans. 04-drinky
