GREAT NEWS for EMU! Sam Kirkpatric resigns! <a href='http://www.mlive.com/news/aanews/index.ssf?/base/news-9/1087396909256860.xml' target='_blank'>http://www.mlive.com/news/aanews/index.ssf...96909256860.xml</a>
The state audit will be out in a few days. It will find there was more going on than the first audit did, but nothing criminal. There was a lot of money swaping going on and the bid process was not followed. A lot of hands will be slapped. All of the regents that voted for this should resign. Some people are blamming the regents but in reality they are not more thana rubber stamp for the President, but still they are there to look out for the best interest of the students and in this area they failed. :chair:

Good riddance to Sammy-boy. I am hoping that the next bums out will be Diles and Boone. There are also news about Incarnati and the exposed news about his son not being Division I-A material at EMU. This is ridiculous to hear news about this overall. Finally, there will be some light shining on EMU and some promising news in the future.

I have found out more about the Prez compensation package. He is not getting paid for the position he took in DC. He had a one year guarantee salary no matter what and all he really got was a one year severance pay. Not as much as the Ann Abor news claims,

:ninja: Superfan, that's good that Dr. Sam didn't get more than he should receive. Personally, he really put EMU in a jinx and now I'm told by a few current EMU professors there that they aren't planning on coming back to teach in Ypsilanti. Some are seeking new teaching positions at other local colleges and possibly outside of Washtenaw County. :jet:
:beam: Now with Dr. Sammy gone, do you think that Dr. Dave will be the next to leave? Who else?
