You're right, nashville. Time to get back to our winning ways...

Funny quote from J.C. on last two games...

[quote]
We played in two tough environments against two basketball teams. I think every time we play, it

Solid defense is the key to this team winning. When they play good D, they get easy transition baskets and get into a rhythm. When they don't get the transition buckets, they seem to struggle in the half court offense.

D IS THE KEY! GO FLASHES!

I look for a big bounce back win tonight. I don't think Miami can guard Big John and zones generally don't work well at the MAC center because we usually (other than Rhode Island) shoot well at home.

I was disappointed with the last 2 losses but i don't want that to bring me down on what this team has accomplished.

Regardless of the outcome of the remainder of the season you have to respect what this senior class has accomplished. Remember they are comprised of 2 former walk-ons, 2 transfers and Bryan Bedford whose contributions i feel go largely unrecognized.

Locals and espcailly the students needs to show up in force tongight. I'm worried about the crowd being down like it was for the OU last year during the last slump.

Let's get this one tonight, so we can OFFICIALLY get our 20th win...

It would be nice not to have to count Houghton as a win when thinking back to the success of this season. Evidently, collegeinsider agrees.

Sorry to disagree, but Edwards has been with the Kent program for five years and has had the privilege of being around winning teams with NCAA Tournament experience during his five years. Yes, he was a walk-on at first but was put on scholarship I believe after his first year.

Although Haut has not been with the program as long as Edwards, he has had the benefit of being around quality coaches and players during his time at Kent.

Yes, Edwards and Haut are former walk-ons but they have been at Kent long enough to be seasoned veterans.

You are probably thinking I am just saying this because I am upset over tonight
