Now that you mention it,...yes, John Edwards does remind me of Will Perdue. And that's not a good thing.

Can someone tell me what happened. Kent was up by 14 with about 9 minutes to go and I check on the score, after chatting on the MAC board about WKU, only to see on espn.com that Kent lost by 2.

This hurts so bad I will not be able to sleep tonight.

Someone please tell me what happened.

As JC's strongest supporter this year, can someone please spell "outcoached". I am beginning to think that JC has a way of burning a team out during the course of a season. He believes that if you coach to win each individual game, the season will take care of its self. In fact, as season is a developmenet period for the end of the season and post season. JC has played the last half of the season without developing his most athletic players. Can you imagine? I would much better come on strong at the end of a season. I do not expect to win another game this season. Sorry if I appear to be jumping off the band wagon.

-I can shoot better than Haynes.
-Anyone can shoot better than Edwards, and he can not hold onto the ball.
-Eric can not defend a D1 player and he can not shoot when worn out.
-Very athletic Cliff Brown does not wear the bench very well.
-Cudley is good and needs help.

Outside of these points, I like our team.

Gflash 68 i agree with everything you said. JC will now be referred to as Mr. January because he's the best coach in the MAC in Jan but we fold like cheap tents when it counts.

- Juby scored 25 in the 2nd half and we tried no junk defenses (i.e box in one, double team, etc. Hell might as well let Meechie give a try guarding him at least he knows his tricks.

- Where is Jason Edwin. He scored 25 a week and a half ago and Mr. Jan doesn't give him minutes.

- As i said earlier this week Haut can't guard anyone.

- Other teams have figured out you guard haut like crazy, double/triple teams john and try and let haynes beat you.

- I wouldn't be surprised if we don't win again

I hope i'm wrong and will be more rationale tomorrow.

I am frustrated too but we have to keep our heads up and stay behind our team. I remember just a few weeks ago us all praying JC would be here next year. we will take care of business in the MAC tourny and all of this won't matter. These end of the year collapses have to go though. 03-puke

Veeerrry disappointing. They appear to lack mental toughness to finish a season and that may need to fall on the head coach. This is two straight seasons where they have crashed down the stretch. Perhaps JC does burn them out. They needed to finish with some momentum going into the tourney and right now they seem completely disoriented. 03-banghead

Remember that our winning program as built by Waters was one of depth. Remember how he expected all out play for the entire court length and then he would sub 3,4, or even 5 players at a time. The method to that madness, is that another team may have the best 5 players, but we are going to work that 5 to death with our 10. We were always strong at the end of the game and end of the season. The entire team felt involved and sense of team. We saw our bench players become starters the next year and play like veterans. DeAndre Haynes must be playing 37-38 minutes per game for the season. Our players are becoming worst as the game gets long and our bench (Cliff Brown) is decaying. Cliff would start on 3/4's of the MAC teams. JC can coach but he is old school. Really, our first 5 players are not that good. Good athletes are beating us when we should be working them to death in the first half of the game so they have no legs in the second. OH Heck!

Simma down naw, ya hear ! Come on folks, did you actually think we would have 20 wins this year and would have won the MAC East (for the 4th year in a row 04-rock ) After our now meaningless game at OU Saturday, we get four much needed days of rest before our Thursday 12pm game at the Gund. They need this rest time to just hit the reset button and relax. This happened last year and we made it to the Championship game. Our record at the Gund in recent years speaks for itself (11-3 in the last five years) It's like the MAC Center with beer.

Have some confidence and get ready for what is the best sporting week in the year.
