Congratulations on your pre season pick on the Flashes MAC record...dead on at 13-5.

You've been quite over here lately...and pre tourney predictions?

Unfortunately, it was 13-5 the hard way. :(

I still like this team, though, but they have to shoot better or we're done. I think we have a great draw, letting WMU, UT, and UB, beat themselves up in the other bracket. I like our chances against BG or OU, and, if we get that far, I think we would see a very angry, determined team against Miami.

Coach Christian has performed miracles with this team so far. Obviously. losing Nate G was a blow, but one that the team has recovered from for the most part. They have adjusted.
It was really tough to lose our back-up point guard, Rashard Turner, though. We really have no good replacement for DeAndre for any stretch of time. His game has suffered as a result--shooting touch is way off, a clear sign of deeper fatigue. But every team has losses to deal with, usually. We, however, were accomplishing more with less thatn any other team in the conference. It has caught up to us to some degree.
I excited about our chances even as others are ready to write us off. These four losses didn't cost us anything except the conference title (would have been nice, but we've only won one of those anyway, despite our larger successes) some confidence and a very remote shot at an at-large.
We have a great seed, I believe & I'm very excited about the tourney this week.
Who's going?

I'll be there Thurs. at noon. Work willing. I work in downtown C-town so it's usually easy for me to sneek out for a looooong lunch. I'll be at any games they play.
