Needless to say, 2002-03 hasn't been good for the WCU men's team, but this season, IMO, is one to be looked back on for several reasons.

1) This team hasn't quit at all. Sure, they lost to ASU in Boone by 30, and were pounded on the road at WVU, Marshall, Tennessee, & Depaul, but this team has fought all the way numerous times. If Shurina can tweak the aggression to last ALL GAME, we'll be contenders.

2) Youth. We lose Kori Hatcher and that's IT! Martin is on his way to breaking records galore, but he needs more aggression on defense. Muirhead was a savage tonight dunking back-door style on ETSU 3 times with power. Rans WILL break the SoCon blocking record next year! BANK ON IT!!

3) The staff has NOT lost this team, and THAT is the most important aspect when you've only won 8 games.

Again, IMHO, let's survive this year, and in 2003-04, youth will be served, WCU style! GO CATS!!!
