I guess the temperature is going to be in the 40s or something like that? I'll be bundled up, for sure! I'm ready to see two very bad football teams fight to stay out (or, in UCF's case, get out) of last place in the MAC!

Forget the 40s. By the second half the sun will have set and the temperature will be on its way down to 26 degrees. Are you ready for that? Better bring your woolies, if you have any. Otherwise Carl's Department Store on the southside should be able to accommodate you. Welcome to Muncie. We are all looking forward to seeing UCF play its last Midwest Conference road game. And to think, it is the Pillow Fight Game of the Day. Not exactly what anyone had in mind three years ago.

Well, the game actually wasn't played as badly as I thought it might be. UCF didn't make as many mistakes as last week against Ohio. Still, a loss is a loss. Congratulations, Ball State. We'll have to try again when Kent State comes to Orlando about 9 days from now.

Did you at least get to partake of any of Muncie's fine beverage establishments on your trip? They've been known to take the sting out of many a football loss (a fact I know all too well in recent years...)

Unfortunately, no, we didn't have time to stop anywhere. My girlfriend and I had to get back to her parents' home to visit with her brother. My girlfriend is a BSU graduate, so we will be back in Muncie again some time next year.

I liked your stadium; it's a bit smaller than what I'm used to, but it's nice. I thought it was neat that the players' workout room is adjacent to the playing field. There's a good chance that I will attend another BSU home game in the future.

I didn't like your marketing guy with the microphone down on the field, though. The moron kept blabbing about the rock climbing race after the game re-started. I also thought the rules for winning the pickup truck were ridiculous; even an NFL kicker probably wouldn't have been able to kick the football into the truck bed without it bouncing out or deflecting off something.

Well, I hope we have better luck against Kent State. We get a bye this week before playing the Golden Flashes on November 23rd.
