Were the new Marshall because Ohio will become a leading MAC team in football. It starts with Solich. He is already worth every penny so far. Our Alumni are pumped now. The Bobcats will be a tough team to play under Solich. No longer will this game be an autmatic W for the other team. He is coaching the Hula Bowl. The MAC now has a top twenty coach 55-19 at Nebraska is hardly has-been material. As for hoops. Lets see what O'Shea does with this team the next couple of years. Hunter left the program in poor shape. Outside of Brandon Hunter, their was little talent that O'Shea could use. O'Shea didn't have great guards in his second and third seasons. Jeremy Fears and Mychal Green are starting to change that problem. O'Shea had a poor first recruiting class(Bridgewater/Bota/Keikow):however, Halbert/Barrett in year 2, Troutman/Harbut/Davis in year three and Fears/Green/Williams/Johnnie Jackson(Boston College transfer eligible next year) in year 4 show that he is improving with each class the skill level coming in. Things are coming together faster than expected this season. Two freshman starters and a 3-3 MAC record despite playing only 2 mac homes games. This team has better basketball ahead.

First off, BLOhio is not Nebraska. Second, the staff is not the same as at Nebraska. Third, the TEAM is not Nebraska. ONE COACH who does not play cannot make a program. He can help, but BLOhio football sucks because the players suck.

Coaching the HULA BOWL because another coach backs out will not get you ONE recruit.

Quit dreaming about being a Cornhusker.... Tommy Boeh sold you a bunch of used goods. Even ESPN rated Solich the 12th best hire this off-season - DUH. No one else wanted him, so he SETTLED for coaching at BLOhio.

Actually, dill-hole, it was not ESPN that rated that hire. Secondly, that ranking couldn't be more worthless. Thirdly, if there's ever been a less significant football program, it would be yours, Flashy. Fourth, BLOhio? Really? You obviously suck.

Kent Read, I apologize you couldn't get in to Ohio, but those are the breaks. Amazingly, we have huge alumni bases in Akron, Cleveland, Pittsburgh... wherever. It's amazing that all these people would choose to go to school in the (or "duh" as you not surprisingly spelled it) sticks, when the amazing Kent is so much closer and so much easier to get into. Hmmm, why do you think that is?

I don't mind the Kent fans, but if you want to talk smack, you can rest on your nice basketball run the last few years. Otherwise, you have nothing. Seriously, why waste your time being an idiot on an Ohio board, when you can fit in so much better on your own board (Kit Kat excepted).

He better stay out of here. His stereotype couldn't be further from the truth of OU's elitist athletic atmosphere.

When Marshall came to town for football this year, a lot of 35 year old mustache/mullet wearing guys showed up. Them are real rednecks. I don't recall seeing anyone like that at our games. The local people around Athens that support athletics are folksy but mellow and clean cut. Not the same kind of demographic at all.
