The message board that is linked from utrockets.com is a <a href='http://bbs.collegesports.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?s=3d8f961a3681ffff;act=SF;f=143' target='_blank'>very weak one</a> which appears to be put in place by the people who maintain UT's site. I sent them a message last week with a link to this board requesting that they direct fans over here since there is no activity on that board. I got no response from them and I have a feeling that it is because this isn't their message board. Can anyone here with connections to the athletic department get this done? I appear to have no power as I know nobody. I think that more fans would find this place if they were easily directed to it.

Thats a good idea but I dont think anyone else is on right now that would have those connections.

That looks like a different message board than the one they had back in '01, but I found the toledorockets.com message board through that one. Someone had put up a post the said something like "This is where the Rocket fans are", and placed a link to the toledorockets.com message board where I found everybody. That's probably the most effective thing that could be done.

You can't get a personal in the collegian for $10. Display ads are expensive in any newspaper.
