That was akin Super’s idea to give credit where credit is due. (Do you think the coaches read this board?)

Speaking of Lovejoy, did anyone notice he had 4 fouls in 4 minutes of play. Never seen that before. He’ll learn…

Lovejoy is VERY aggressive on defense, which is an anomaly for our D.

Personally, while I hate football penalties and basketball fouls, I despise teams that play so-called "clean" games more. The only way you don't get a whistle is to never attempt to do anything. Stealing the ball, getting an offensive rebound or blocking a shot always come with the risk of committing a foul. I accept most of those as a cost of doing business if reasonably executed. The silly fouls where you get beat off the dribble and hold or foul beyond the three-point line are another issue and are stupid.

You know what I would like to see? DJ Ballard used to come into games, bang it around inside and get a bunch of fouls while also attracting the same number of fouls from our opponents. I think this team needs to see that kind of aggression.

Don't despise "clean" games. As what often separates a good player from a bad one is a bb IQ. Smart players rarely commit fouls. There's no need to commit fouls on offensive rebounds or going for steals if a player is taught properly.

Really? Really? Michael Jordan, with the "star officiating" environment of the NBA still averaged 3 fouls a game. It is his misfortune that he did have someone to properly teach him the game? C'mon Man. You can analyze box scores, quote analytics or actually watch the game.

When you mention Pranger, you revealed that you had not watched the games. The guy is not ready for D1 basketball, his "steals" against mighty WSU were accidental but the box score did not show that. He was plainly out of his element if you actually saw him perform.
