With GCU signing Noah Baumann, Cherry probably decided to look elsewhere for more playing time. Although since he dropped all the way down to an NAIA school for his transfer, I suspect academics might have also been an issue.

On a different note, Aggie Commit Jordan Ivy-Curry has reopened his recruitment. With Curry probably gone, it might open up the possibly of NMSU signing Xavier Pinson as a replacement.
