Yeah, well that's the new version of, "Wie was just following orders!"

I have two nieces (both due to med school mandates), and two nephews (one med school and one military) that have to wake up every day and worry about this bs moving forward ... same applies to my sis (she had to take if for the same as you, JR - travel to Hawaii), my BiL (ENT), my SiL (physical therapist)...

li'l bubba, myself, my daughter and youngest niece? we're in the clear...

it sickened me from day 1, to this day, to any day in the future how DJT butchered this when he knew "we need to be careful the 'cure' isn't worse than the disease."
In light of his heavy lobby of 3 house members to approve McCarthy, and in retrospect looking back to the wholly inexplicable endorsement of a demonstration in DC by his supporters (which served no useful political purpose) and which walked them straight into a trap designed to sabotage the right, and the coy play between Dems who bring no formal charges that will stick and the dragging out of Mara Largo, I think we all have some real soul searching and a lot more digging to do.

His message resonated with many of us in 2016. His actions thereafter from the vantage point of time, can all be seen in a different light. Who retained Fauci and followed his bidding? Who is a member of the Billionaire Club? Who was a Dem before 2016 when Republicans looked in great shape to win anyway and possibly retain power for some time?

Color me extremely suspicious which is why I wrestle at night with one word, mole.

while I understand that in full, I'm of the opinion he simply couldn't (more importantly, wouldn't) see past those bushy narcissistic brows ... ol' boy chose the path of least resistance (all he saw was a lose/lose scenario) ... and along with all the other bs that was being tossed his way at that time, it bit him and the rest of the country in the arse...

what a monumental and critical mistake that was ... like Reagan and his continuation/doubling down with the war on drugs, there's certain decisions that I simply can't forgive in 'scope' ... it makes his selection of Sessions for AG look benign by comparison...
