Matt Brown is the one that indicated that this could be a thing, but you are correct that the Big South could certainly figure a way to wiggle the three new schools (UCA, EKU & JaxSt) into their scheduling at this point even if its not a complete round robin.

Perhaps the scheduling is a bit more complicated than we think? If the AQ deadline is rapidly approaching, it will all work itself out in the next two weeks anyway!

Matt Brown has good sources inside the WAC. If he’s reporting this as an option I suspect it’s at least something the WAC is attempting to work out.
