RE: AAC In Depth Football preview
Last year, despite a metric crap ton of injuries, the King controversy, starting a QB with just 4 games of experience who was injured most of the season, using up scholarships on a ton of starting quality defensive transfers that had to sit out a year, and red shirting everything in sight---we still somehow won 4 games and were within a score of most every game. Five of the 12 teams in the AAC won 4 games or less last year.
If this was a regular year, I'd confidently state that Houston will be in the running for the championship this year. However---who knows whats going to happen with Covid, forfeits, shut downs, etc. I mean---at any point you could be shut down and not be able to practice for a week or two. This year is going to be just too weird to really predict.
