Recruits flip when there’s an opening. It happens. Are you just supposed to start that true freshman and let him “figure it out” right out of the gate, or bother to address depth issues when you find them.

That's a good point, and I agree. And hell if a good student athlete wants to be here and we have the roster spot, is it some sort of rule to cut off your nose to spite your face. If a young person's wants an opportunity to play college football and will do it the right way, OPEN ARMS!!

Being a life long coach, I appreciate the fact that NDSU do things differently to build there program and kudos to them, but they do have transfers and would accept transfers that fit a need. Maybe they do not need as many right now, but best believe as the other teams in there region grow their programs, they will need them.

Right now, they are killing the Minnesota and south Dakota Market, but I believe University of Minnesota continues to get better their share of the better plans will start to diminish . . . and South Dakota State is getting closer so we shall see.
