RE: National Championship JMU Versus NDSU January 11, 2020
Often times my perceptions are not necessarily backed up by stats but more feelings. I've been worried about our team with mobile QB's all year. I think our weakness was, maybe still is a little, our secondary and giving up big passes. But I am equally concerned about a mobile QB. The good news is that it sounds like the bison struggle with a mobile QB as well so hopefully we see a lot of Ben on the run picking up big yards. I always get nervous going up against a QB who can escape and pick up yards and Lance appears to be able to run. For me it's just demoralizing to have good coverage and get pressure only to watch the guy squirt out and pick up 15 because everyone has their back turned. Of course I love it when Ben does it but I'm a little nervous of Lance escaping a few times and scrambling for big gains.
