RE: National Championship JMU Versus NDSU January 11, 2020
The JMU offense has so many weapons. If you are an opposing coach which of the weapons do you try to take away? Just as they did in 2017, NDSU will be tackling the football on every play. The receivers need to be mindful of this. Stony Brook was quite successful with this strategy this year.

NDSU will try to possess the ball to shorten the game. That is their M O. They only pass to keep the defense honest. We have become much like them in recent years. I think JMU as a program has more depth. It showed on special teams last time as Amos had a big day. Without the three turnovers and nine dropped passes, JMU would have won going away in 2017. NDSU will play mistake free football. Weber did so Saturday while we had 70+ yards of penalties.

If JMU plays their game without turnovers and penalties, they will win comfortably as they have done the last two weeks. If they show up unprepared and make mistakes, NDSU will roll once again.
