Being that the AAC is currently at 11 members, all they really need to do is add Boise State.

Now obviously, traveling from the ETZ and the CTZ all the way out to Boise on a regular basis is a heck of a trip. It might be argued that regional partners for BSU would be great, but iif you do that then you just increase travel for the current 11 even more. The only school that travels a little less in that scenario is Boise State.

Bring Boise State in as the 12th member and see how it goes.

If the Mountain West product is materially damaged then let them deal with it for a couple of years and then swoop in for a few more that you want.

That is assuming you can't talk BYU into coming aboard. Their inclusion would change some of the dynamics.
