If it winds up being a series then so be it, but I'm pretty sure the language in the contract was that UConn would schedule "a game" with MTSU. My understanding is that it's basically an in-season home-and-home where Uconn's taking the buy game money from playing at Mississippi and using it to pay MTSU to play a one-off road game. MTSU is getting their money either way, so it's no skin off their back, and they get a less difficult road game and thus an easier path to bowl eligibility so they probably come out slightly ahead.

But, like I said, if they play an away game at MTSU in a couple years then that's fine too. Middle Tennessee didn't have to work with us on this, after all.
