C'mon man, that's called planning for future scenarios. It's the exact thing that so many said UConn did not do when they left the AAC.

All that crafty planning...and President Herbst was still asking the AAC presidents if UConn could stay in conference as football only...

Doesn't hurt to ask ... the answer would have been received either way well before any contracts were ready to be signed.

But the answer received would have been the answer expected.
