Dukester. All over the place. Not sure what the prediction is

We are only 8 days away from the home opener against Charlotte. I have updated the predictions. Let me know if I missed something.

P.s. it feels like the JMU hoops fanbase is slightly larger than last year. After 3 pathetic years by Rowe there is at least still some hope in the air for the few remaining people that care.

Hope springs eternal every season but I do sense a little more hope than recent years. I think it's for a combination of reasons.

1)Last year in the Convo and the new Arena is within sight- this has created some excitement around the program

2) Understanding that JMU MBB is an important piece to moving up in conference and some of the dominos have begun to fall in terms of the new conference.

3) Even for folks who didn't follow that closely last years team showed signs of ability with relatively solid wins compared to years past. Most of those guys return (save Mosely) as Juniors and Sophomores

4) By all accounts this years recruiting class was relatively highly regarded within mid major circles and may rival the current Junior class in terms of talent.

5) Buzz around the new coaches , system, and style/philosophy and the hope that these tweaks coupled with the maturation of the players could make all the difference between a sub .500% record with some close losses and a team that fights for the top of the conference.

Question for Hart- if your prediction holds true would you bring Rowe back next season? I know that if they win 20 and get to the CAA Finals they will bring Rowe back but I sense that you probably wouldn't and the reasoning would be that Rowe just got the program back to where it was before he took over. Even though I'd argue that a finals appearance in the CAAT (even a semi finals appearance) is ahead of where Brady had took the team and a roster with a ton of 4 year players returning in 2021 is also unlike what Brady usually brought back.

I'm at 12-6 in conference, 19-10 overall and 1-1 in CAA Tourney.
