RE: 2019-2020 JMU MBB Season Predictions
We really need Jacobs to take a big step- relatively highly regarded as a prep player he needs to be a factor down low. At times he showed some flashes blocking shots and rebounding. He can also run the floor I think he needed to get stronger in his lower body to bang down there. Even if his outside shot is still poor I don’t think we need him taking shots outside of 3 but this team needs him to be reliable and consistent down low to compliment Wilson.

By all accounts (there is a recent DNR article on this) Wilson had another strong off season. I think it’s often overlooked how much better he got last year and even throughout last season. He can be a monster down low and it wouldn’t surprise me if he ends up as an all Caa guy this year but we really need Jacobs as a Junior to step forward.
