Quick observations. Our defense was way below Cronin's standard, especially in the first half.

The good: Brooks and Scott, dominated rebounding and also made quite a few scoring plays down low. Scott did a nice job feeding Brooks as well and also showed his outside range. Brooks had only one bad post play (where he traveled). Cane Broome, dominated once he moved to playing off-ball, was consistently getting to the hoop and his 8-12 on FG's reflects that he was taking good shots. Johnson played very well and looks like our PG of the future (and maybe the present). FG shooting at the end of the game. Brooks/Williams combined to go 6-6 in the final minute or so, which I doubt anyone would have predicted.

The neutral: Keith Williams, made some nice plays and hit FT's but mised threes and was not consistent and made some bad decisions. Cumberland, same thing as Williams - but we need Cumberland to be more consistent.

The bad: Our bench was terrible, Fredericks and Moore look like offensive liabilities right now. Johnson was the only player who made a significant contribution (though it was quite significant). Nsoseme had probably his worst game this season (mostly by being out of position on the defnsive end a number of times). Broome showed why Cronin doesn't play him at PG. Poor shot selection for a lot of the first half as well as by Cumberland late in the 2nd half. First half FT shooting was abysmal.
