An exaggeration, but yes they have a wider net. Also true for any area code, not just the 757. My youngest goes to ODU and has had a great experience. He was accepted for transfer to W&M last year and chose to stay at ODU.

My point was, when ODU went FBS, there was talk that they could now compete with UVA/Tech to keep top 757 talent home. I'm just curious if Coach London and staff are the recruiters we hope they are. Will 757 guys looking to stay close to home, passed over by UVA and Tech, consider W&M among their top options? I'm not talking academics. There are many an athlete playing on ODU that I'm sure would have been admitted here. Obviously a kid would would have to qualify academically to come here.

Wasn't responding to you. Just wanted to head off disparaging comments about ODU and high schools in the 757. Bubbadog has gone on that tangent before.
