I'm not sure why he is singling out QU here but the loan that they were awarded this summer leads me to believe they aren't close to closing down and are going to do everything possible to avoid that fate.

Correct - I know about the loan/debt restructuring that allows QU to save millions on interest. I also know about the largest gift in QU history this year - something that wouldn't be given if the donors were worried about the viability of the university.

Even your link doesn't say they are failing.
