Trevecca always felt like a stretch in the GMAC. They should try to recruit Notre Dame College as a replacement. I’m kind of surprised the Falcons haven’t already jumped from the MEC.

The theoretical NDC-to-GMAC move has been discussed for years, but there hasn't been any evidence that NDC desires that move. They seem happy sticking around as a charter member in the MEC, and it gives them a pretty clear path to the football playoffs every year since the MEC is weaker than the GMAC overall.

If the GMAC continues to improve, starts to win regional championships, and establishes itself as the premier football conference of SR1 with 3 bids to the playoffs regularly, then perhaps NDC will be more motivated to make the move.
