The Pioneer League makes no sense for UMHB. That conference exists for schools to be in Division I without scholarship football. A school can't win a FCS championship without scholarship players.

UMHB is a football school. They play to win national championships. They can do that in either D-III or D-II. If they're moving up, it's going to be driven by the football program.
