Well there is a lot happening at a school that "will be no more". In October, Bridgeport announces the addition of new varsity and club sports. The five varsity sports begin competition in 2022.

University of Bridgeport Set To Expand Athletics With The Addition Of Ten New Sports

Now, Bridgeport announces a move from the East Coast Conference to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference on July 1, 2022. This looks to be good move for UB. The distance to their farthest conference opponent goes from 416 miles to less than 219 miles.
