No one is saying its an easier shot. We're saying if you're going to shoot a difficult shot, might as well make it a 3-point attempt rather than a 2-pointer.

The best shot to take is the closest one you can get. But once you get outside of the 15-foot range, you might as well try to become adept at shooting 3's.

I teach my kids all the time, the worst shot in basketball is one or two steps inside the 3 pt line!
