Yes, after 1 decent game. It's also the first game he's been given enough minutes to make any kind of judgement. And, he did it against a team that had players superior in size at every position. Let's not forget he's not just a freshman. He's had success on the court above HS which is why he's on our bench. What i'm saying is I am more comfortable with him than any player we have now. And unless the freshman PG recruit knocks it out of the park, he looked in control and showed he could handle the ball in a pressure situation without turning it over and made good decisions. I've already stated a transfer may come in and make a splash, but if not, he can handle the job. I'm also going off statements about his performance in practice. He definitely has the skills.
