That wording suggests that the county is thinking MPF which MAY NOT mean the open air single use BJCC stadium. Perhaps the final draft will be more explicit.

As bad as you want a roof ever that football field, it isn't in the cards...

Unlike some on this forum, my thoughts on a building don't begin and end with football applications. What I have, and will continue to push, is for a convention facility that will enable my city to compete for the largest conventions out there on a year round basis. Football games would perhaps be a nice add on to such a building. The GA Dome hosted two to three hundred exhibitions / conventions every year (sometimes 2 or 3 at a time) plus football games. B'ham needs a facility that could compete for some of these regardless of seasonal weather.
