RE: QB situation for teams that graduated their starting QB?
My concern is our fan base is putting way too much confidence in Brown. He played in a 4A league (highest in NC) and his team went 10-2 with a loss in the 1st round of the playoff. Yet they finished the year ranked 33rd in the state.
Steph has all the tools - size, arm strength & demeanor - and one would think the big boys would be kicking down his door early in the recruiting cycle. Yet he only had FCS offers at the time we offered. Guess the recruiting experts wiffed on him. Still, he did out perform several higher rated QB's in camp who signed with other programs, one to Temple and another So Miss. Hopefully Scott has found another diamond in the rough. The thing I really like about Brown is even though he had a scholarship from App, he paid his way to a QB camp late in the summer just to work with Satterfield going into his Sr season. He's certainly no prima donna.
