From what I read about him, he's a very intelligent QB. Can buy time by moving around the pocket. Highest rated QB we ever recruited. Comes from a football family....his father played for Mississippi State. Reminds me of Taylor Lamb from App.

JUCO transfer QB Dan Ellington: 6'2ft 192lbs 3 star duel threat QB. Rocket arm, elusive mobility, and decent accuracy. He had put up crazy stats in the Mississippi JUCO league, the toughest JUCO league in the country. My money is on Walker, but wouldn't surprise me at all if Ellington's dynamic playmaking ability wins him the starting job. Reminds me of Caleb Evans from ULM.

Winchester, our junior duel-threat QB, will get an opportunity, but no one expects him to beat Walker or Ellington as the starting QB.
Winchester could not beat out Manning and both Walker and Ellington are better than Manning. If Winchester enters another game it means catastrophe has struck.
agreed! Manning was a mediocre QB for 2 years and Winchester couldn't win the starting job. Some of our fanbase love Winchester but I don't understand it.
