I think the game was too tight down the stretch and Talley had been scoring. That's likely the decision between Talley and Gary in that respect. Yeah, Gary tends to play with more "control", but he lacks the ability to score like Talley. He also lacks Talley's ability to force the defense to respect him. Teams aren't scared of Gary. They can sit back on our other 1 or maaaaaybe 2 offensive threats in the game and play their odds that Gary can't beat them. They don't have that luxury with Talley in the game. Talley may appear to be out of control at times, but he also has the ability to burn a defender and force a double to him that draws Cacok or another teammate open. I've yet to see Gary do that.

The play before, where Talley appeared to pass it to Cacok and there was a miscommunication of sorts where Cacok had to chase it down... I actually thought that was a great pass, Cacok (as well as the defenders) just weren't expecting it. Talley wasn't out of control there. He was playing an up-tempo speed, but that's necessary against a team like Delaware that doesn't move with great defensive speed.
