ESPN only owns one bowl tie-in that the Belt is currently linked to. The SBC has been just as good for the Camellia Bowl as the Bowl has been to the conference. I could see ESPN try to work a SBCvsCUSA match up for it and drop the MAC. I could also see ESPN offer an alternative slot to the SBC to play in the Birmingham or Bahamas Bowl and try to lure the league away from the Arizona Bowl.

Yeah, ESPN owns all bowls sans one (New Orleans) that CUSA is tied to. If there is going to be any restructuring of bowls for better match-ups with us, it's going to have to be done through ESPN themselves (which is a scary thought).
