Puts the SB in good shape but you have the P5 playing this week. There are 3 conferences yet to play a bowl game. Also, the CFP games do not count towards the bowl cup.

Playoff counts. ESPN counted it last year.

I thought when I saw the standings this year during a bowl game they had a note that it does not include CFP games. I could be wrong or misread it. I would get not including the Championship game, the Semis would make sense to include.

The way I remember it last year was Clemson's Semifinal win gave the ACC the bowl challenge cup.
