They do pretty well in both of those sports in D-II. We'll have to see how well their coaches recruit for D-I when they get there.

UCSD strikes me as a school that really has their act together. I predict that within five years their athletic program will be one of the top two or three in the Big West. I also expect a UCSD-Hawaii rivalry to emerge and I think it’s gonna be fun.

"The start of the carrier’s long-anticipated service between Hawaii and San Diego will probably come in the first half of next year once Southwest has a better handle on what its post-grounding fleet looks like."
