I've heard nothing to indicate that anyone else is being added or that UC Davis is leaving. I think this is just about rounding out the conference membership at 10 with a school that fits the Big West institutionally, has been a strong performer at the D-2 level, and gives the conference a presence in another major market.

This is my take from this. Surprised the CSU's gave up their voting block with this move. I figured they would require a CSU to be brought in with UCSD to keep the voting numbers even.



Sac State isn't leaving the BSC unless we have a long term home for FB. And the BW isn't going to sponsor FB so the BSC-BWC cross over talk is DavidSt type of ridiculousness. It should stop.

No brainer move by the BW to add UCSD...however they can kiss any hope of an at-large berth good-bye. (BW fans, take solace in the fact that you guys were never going to get an at-large anyways.)
