I actually think I'd put Georgia Southern at #2. Brown, Smith, Hughes is such a nasty combo in the backcourt and those guys are finally upperclassmen. Troy is probably top 3 for me with Varnado and Person both returning. Georgia State/Louisiana in the mix also.

I’m with you on GS. Their guards are great, and it was kind of funny seeing how all the GS picks on the preseason all-SBC team didn’t translate into their being slotted in at #2. (I realize there was a razor thin margin for several picks after the Mavs though...)
