I see and feel no excitement being generated around the program to this point. There has been no recruiting accomplishment to date. A quick look at other midmajor program changes in the region, and most are seeing positive movement, despite getting a later start than us. I have a sincere appreciation for promoting family on twitter, but family alone does not build a program. First impressions say a lot.

In addition to Elon's two nice pickups, they have a 6'9" PF, Ben Wight, visiting this weekend, who is a decommit from Ohio U. Same Ohio U that our assistant came from with their coaching change, and yet Wight is nowhere on our radar, but he is on Holmes'. Maybe the reason is academic, but.....
Add to that 6'7" PF, Michael Moreno, with a long offer list offered by Elon this past week, and contact lead by guess who. He was previously followed by Kemp, also, but again does not appear on our radar.

Maybe this all plays out positive and Brown recommits and everyone returns except Pierce and Milon, but it's up to Fischer to win over the fanbase, and it's been a very underwhelming start. The program cannot sit still waiting on existing player and prior commit decisions. We have made NO new 2019 offers, with the final signing deadline just two weeks away!!!
